A4.20 OPEN MEETING
One resident attended with regards to the North Willingham Community Speed Watch Group.
Ongoing speeding within the village has seen a resident volunteer and be trained by the group, with a view
to holding regular speed watch events in the village of Tealby. The volunteer reported that he had been
liaising with WLDC Cllr. Bunney and the Lincolnshire Road Safety Partnership, regarding all aspects of such a
group being formed for Tealby, including registration, insurance, equipment requirements, and data
processing of findings of any events undertaken, in conjunction with Lincolnshire Police. The Parish Council
welcomed this proactive approach and offered support where needed, which has already attracted residents
to volunteer and undertake training to form a group. The clerk is to obtain a copy all necessary liability
information from WLDC Cllr. Bunney to ensure these events are covered by some insurance.
