Annual Meeting Minutes 13th May 2019 Held in the Memorial Hall, at 7.00pm.
Present: Cllrs S. Spivey (Chair); Cllrs Shilling, Adams, Goodall, Cllr. 2 parishioners were also present.
A1.19 Approve Minutes Of The Last Meeting
The minutes of the Annual Parish Meeting held on Monday 14th May 2018 were signed as a true record.
A2.19 Chairman’s Report
The Chairman summarized the year’s Parish Council activities for 2018/19.
Repairs to dry stone wall around the church
Meetings regarding the proposed development of the land adjacent to Barn Cottage
Installation of the defibrillators
Welcomed Mark Adams & Roger Goodall
Changes in data protection legislation
Surface water drainage issues at the bottom of Rasen Road
Discussion regarding the condition of The Smooting
Bess Scott Gunn resigned in July, Andrew Ryan in March and Ian Brady stood down at the end of the year.
Transfer of Funds for Village Green play equipment to The Parish Council
Cllrs. Gavin Wraith, Roger Goodall & Mark Adams worked to repair the mock gates
Cllr. Lewis Strange started attending meetings in or to advise on county-wide initiatives
Controversially planning consent was granted for the telecoms mast at the sewage works
Neighbourhood plan discussions took place
There is a need to attend Rospa course for play equipment, and 2 volunteers are currently being sought.
Cllr. Mark Adams is involved in the formulation of an Emergency Plan
Cllr. Roger Goodhall has taken responsibility for installing the phone box defibrillator signs and also regularly checking both defibrillators
Rev’d Chris Hewitt has questioned the ownership/maintenance liability/income entitlement in respect of some areas of the churchyard and cemetery which is yet to be resolved.

There being no further business, the Chairman thanked everyone for coming and closed the meeting at 7.20pm.
